Greek Awards

Our Greek organizations are annually evaluated to assist the Greek community, as well as each chapter, in functioning at the most effective level possible. The Office of Greek Affairs assess chapters on the minimum standards they should be meeting to be viable and successful members of the University’s Greek community and their national organizations. Each chapter is recognized on a 5-star scale. The chapters are judged on several criteria, including:

  • Campus/community involvement & leadership
  • Greek relations
  • Academic achievement
  • Community service & philanthropy
  • New member recruitment/retention & member education

Additionally, the Office of Greek Affairs recognizes outstanding individual members, advisors and chapters within the Greek community. The awards are as followed:

  • New Greek Man/Woman of the Year
  • Outstanding Community Service
  • Advisor of the Year
